My sister, who used to work at the Learning Disability Team where I work, only as a Nurse and not a Social Worker, has now registered as a carer on an adult placement scheme.
In a very bizarre co-incidence, a client I assessed and recommended for adult placement before she registered, looks like he is now being placed with her.
Unfortunately for our new locum social worker this means that she has to take all of the assessments and reports I did over the last couple of years and re-do them.
Why?
Because I cannot place a client with my sister... conflict of interest and all that.
So that will be weird for me - I have had to close him off my caseload and he could soon be living as part of my family!
Life gets weirder and weirder!
