OMFG! Well - just as I thought he couldn't stoop much lower.
I got to my Mum's this evening to pick the kids up only for her to tell me that Gemima, my 7-year-old, had come and told her some things that Nick has been saying to her.
He told her that he has to leave because I don't want him to live with us anymore.
He told her that he wants her to live with him.
He told her that I have a boyfriend.
He told her that he wants her with him because he doesn't want her to have another "daddy" come and live with her when he moves out.
ARSEHOLE!
He is only doing this to piss me off.
He only does most of the things he does to piss me off.
He doesn't stop to think that what he is doing is hurting them far more than he is hurting me.
Selfish, thoughtless, motherfucking bastard.

Yep, people can be really fucked up and horrible when they lose something they want. It'd be good if they would just walk away and accept change, but unfortunately some of them are hopeless.
I have a (ex) friend with a really nasty wife, but he puts up with everything she says and does because "we have the third greatest love story in the world after Romeo and Juliet, and Samson and Delilah".
This is a bit sick I think, and leads to the sort of nasty obsessive behaviour if the other person doesn't see it that way.
