Fairies
A married couple in their sixties are visited one day by a fairy, who grants them both a wish.
"I want to travel around the world with my husband" says the wife.
Two tickets for a luxury cruise magically appear in her hand.
Her husband says, "Sorry love but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."
So the fairy waves her magic wand and the husband becomes 92.
The moral of this story: Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember, fairies are female.

The first of many Glitzdays...
KT and I had a really rather fab evening last night. We had planned on going out for a meal for Valentine's Day but as he is somewhat lurgyfied and pennies are a bit on the short side, we opted for a nice quiet night in instead.
Kids were packed off to their rooms by 7:30pm and KT and I sat at my dining table to a home cooked dinner of trout baked with lemon and dill; pan fried prawns, mushrooms and spinach with chilli and lemon (I didn't have any limes!); green salad and at KT's request, some chips. I had planned on new potatoes but chips actually went pretty well! We washed this down with a glass of wine and finished it off with filter coffee and gluten free chocolate tiffin and biscuits.
We sat and chatted for hours. It was lovely to spend some "us" time together with no distractions. Just the two of us.
It made me realise that we do that so rarely and it got me thinking. I think we should declare one day a month to be Glitzday. A day (or evening) when KT and I just spend time together with no-one else around and no distractions. I think that's a good plan.

Happy Valentines Day KT
I love you very much. You mean the world to me and I can't possibly express how glad I am that we found each other again.
I love you for who you are and because of who I am when I am with you. You are my soul mate. You make me feel happy and whole. Without you I would be a shadow of me.
May we have many, many more Valentine's Days together.
Yours Forever
