Made lasagne for dinner tonight! Keith bought a hand blender so I put loads of veggies in the sauce with wine and herbs and blitzed it up - the boys ate stuff you'd never normally get down their throats in a months of Sundays! Haaahahahahahaha! AND they have no idea!
Raced about to get ready to sod off to London. Keith is a total stress-head about being late - and we were running late! Just missed the train and as the next one was an hour's wait, we hopped in a cab to Wickford and caught the train there - which was delayed!
Good job I'm pretty chilled about that sort of thing - Keith was almost having kittens - even suggested I run for the train!!! Pft!! Run??! Still - it was fairly entertaining to watch - sorry Keith but it was!!
As it turned out, Dennis was also running late so nothing to worry about. The train on the way into london was full of twatty lads crapping on about shagging their "birds" Very sad but very entertaining for Keith and I to listen to, tut and shake our heads at - also to bitch about!! lol
Luckily, train fuck-ups meant that we missed the opportunity to buy our tickets into London - what a shame! Never mind eh!
Met Dennis at The Ship, where we stayed until closing time. Interesting mix of people in there and entertaining barmen!
After much alcohol consumption we made our way to the Intrepid Fox. Had a good night - although not quite so great for Dennis, who is having relationship issues with one of the women who work there.
Left the Fox at around 2am and had to get night bus to Stratford. No sodding trains of course and a subtle lack of buses going anywhere remotely near Chelmsford! Got in a cab which cost £45! Money well spent as it was FUCKING COLD!!
Finally got in at just after 4am!
