Catch Up, Catch Up, Catch Up!!!!

Oh God! I've been such a lazy bugger about blogging for the last week! My apologies to anyone who has bothered looking and is wondering why I have not done anything at all.

So - here's a brief run-down of the last week:

Thursday - Monday
A very long weekend for me. All ran into a bit of a blur and I can't remember what I did on which day but needless to say it was all with Keith & the kids and it was all great fun! Involved much watching of crap on TV, lazing about, sleeping, eating, drinking and getting the kids to fit a new CD player in my car! (Thank you Sophie and Shane!)

Tuesday - Today
Back to London and back to work. Spent the last three days doing physical intervention training at work.

Oh My God! I feel like I have been hit by a sodding truck!

My legs haven't hurt this much since... well... ever! The course was awesome though - I really enjoyed it. Sadly it has shown me that although I have shrunk the best part of 4 sizes since about October last year, its really time for me to start doing some regular exercise and tone myself up.

And today Nick and I had a chat about Gemima. She'd asked the other week about coming with me to Keith's one weekend. I'd put her off because she had things arranged. As this Monday is a bank holiday, I thought it would be a good opportunity to bring her to Keith's and introduce her to everyone.

I talked to her about it and agreed that she can spend Friday and Saturday night with Nick and that I will pick her up on Sunday late morning and she can come back to Keith's for the night with me.

She thought that was a good plan and she didn't feel so torn at the idea of leaving Nick alone for that length of time. Poor kid is starting to feel responsible for him and its not healthy!

Needless to say Nick was not best pleased at that idea but to his credit, after much discussion he has accepted it and will have her ready for me to collect on Sunday.

He did ask her if it was what she wanted and after she said that she did, he seemed more agreeable to the idea. Hopefully he won't just bugger off out with her on Sunday. Although I did say that if he does that, I'll just take her with me on Friday next weekend and we'll be gone all weekend.
