Was in Gemima's room this evening tidying away some of her clothes, when I came across an old book of mine from when I was little.
It was by her bed so she must have dug it out of my stuff to read it.
Feeling all nostalgic, I opened it to have a quick read through (I haven't seen this book for YEARS) and saw a note I had scribbled inside the cover when I was THREE years old!
It says: "This book belongs to Toni Age 3 xxx" and a few squiggles!
Yes - I was a smart arse and I could read and write at the age of three. My Nan was training to be a teacher for dyslexic children and it was me she practiced on!

I started this blog because throughout the pandemic I had a fair amount of free time on my hands and went from being an avid reader to a ferocious book dragon.
