After a really nice roast dinner (Nan is a great cook) we had to pack up our stuff and head off home to Keith's. As we left, I noticed the oil light flicker for about a millisecond. As the car was still making silly noises, I thought it might be a good plan to stop at the local petrol station and check the oil.
Good job I did really. After looking at the oil level, Keith and I decided that the funny noise could well be the engine about to seize up! For some reason my oil warning light has decided not to work! Bloody car!
Half a litre of oil later, the car was running smoothly and the silly noise had gone! Will have to remember to be much more vigilant about that in future!
Two hours later we arrived back in SWF where Sophie, who had texted Keith about 10 minutes before our arrival, had made coffee! Much appreciated!
We sat up and watched Doctor Who with the kids then decided it was time to hit the sack as it had been a long day.
Gemima snuggled in with Sophie and Aaron got to have Sam's room all to himself as Sam was out living it up at a party!
