IKEA & TGIs

Intended to get up early and go to IKEA with Keith but ended up lazing about for half the morning watching DVD of Meet the Spartans which was mindless and silly but funny and perfect to watch on a lazy morning!

Sophie cooked breakfast for us all, which was lovely - despite the near-miss with food poisoning in the form of half-cooked sausages, which Sam very kindly went and re-cooked!

Eventually made it to IKEA and Keith and I spent a while pottering about looking at all the things we were definitely not going to buy!

Amazingly I left IKEA having only spent £4.99 on tea-lights!! Must be some kind of record for me - I usually go there with the intention of spending about £10.00 and end up coming out having spent closer to £100.00!

All that wandering and window shopping worked up an appetite and Keith and I opted for eating out rather than cooking - on the pretext that we would have to spend ages getting ready for Vendetta when we got back so there was no time for cooking anyway!

Ended up in TGI Friday's which was really nice - I've not been there for about 15 years! Ate far too much but was just too yummy!
