I'm using up the rest of my annual leave and have tacked a couple of days onto the bank holiday weekend.
Jade and I spent some much-needed time together today bumming around Bluewater window shopping, real shopping and generally having fun.
I had to buy jeans. A necessary evil for my new role - can't be wearing long floaty skirts when you work in a challenging behaviour unit - that's just asking for trouble!
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Also bought lingerie and earrings and a new wallet. Didn't specifically go shopping for those but they were calling me and I had no choice!! LMAO
Fabulous day of retail therapy. I was ecstatic because the lingerie and the jeans came from everyday high-street retailers and not from Evans or any specialist stores.
It has been such a long time since I was able to just go and buy clothes off the rack at any high street store. It was SUCH a good feeling.
I was scared trying the jeans on. Its silly. I know from my skirts etc that I am a size 18 now but I still took an 18 and a 20 into the changing room. If there had been a 22 or 24 I probably would have taken those too!
Glad to say the 18 fitted perfectly so I got 2 pairs.
