A Day of Farewells

Linda's last day today. She made a really yummy lunch - Xmas Pie - a kind of Shepherds Pie style affair made of leftover turkey, ham and potatoes.

Keith, Sam and I drove her to Chelmsford to catch her 4pm bus this afternoon. It was lovely to see her - hopefully won't be too long before we get to go and see her again.

And for me, I left at 7pm to drive back to London and wait for Gemima to get back from Cornwall. She was supposed to be back between 7-8pm but as Nick was still in Cornwall when I spoke to him at 1pm, I guessed she would be a fair amount later!

I've had a lovely Christmas week. Can't wait to get back and see Keith for New Year. We'll be going out to Evolution.

Gemima made it to Mum's at 11:45pm in the end. She had her xmas stocking - the rest of her prezzies she can open tomorrow. It's so nice to see her.

Once she'd gone to sleep, Aaron and I sat up chatting, him playing his PSP and me talking to Keith on MSN.

Going to sleep tonight will be strange. I've spent the last 5 nights cuddling up in a comfy bed with Keith and falling asleep on his shoulder. Being alone on a sofa doesn't really compare.
