After work I popped back to Sidcup to meet up with friends from LDT and to say goodbye to Malcolm, my old manager, who is leaving the team this week.
He won't be going far - he's off to be the Safeguarding Adults Co-ordinator for Bexley so no doubt I'll be staying in touch anyway!!
Gathered in Pizza Express after deciding to leave the pub, as they wouldn't allow children - even into the restaurant bit - and Jo had brought her 3-year-old with her.
Much better venue anyway so good move! It was lovely to see everyone again but reminded me how much I will miss seeing them on a regular basis.
Malcolm got lots of prezzies and was trying not to be emotional.
Lovely way to spend the evening - even if I couldn't stay for long.
