Went to collect Gemima from him this evening. She had been meant to stay with me on Monday but the snow and ice meant it was too dangerous for me to go and collect her.
He spoke to me briefly in the morning and seemed reasonably OK and agreed that I would come and get her in the evening. By late afternoon I thought it would be safe enough to venture out and tried to call him. Several times. He refused to answer my calls and eventually got Gemima to call me back.
So off I went to get Gemima and was confronted by angry Nick.
I had to go in to collect birth certificates for me and for the kids to take to the housing office tomorrow. He got very shirty in front of Gemima (no surprise there) and I got the distinct impression that if he thought he could have got away with it he would have physically tried to take Gemima's birth certificate off of me. He was very pissed off at me taking it and demanded that he have it back (as if!).
In the end, Gemima told him off and told him to stop causing fights especially in front of her because it would upset her. His response to her: "Too late, the damage is already done".
He also made references to getting the locks changed. I did of course advise him that he cannot do that while my name is still on the deeds to the house and the mortgage.
Think once this snow has thawed I will be borrowing a few of my bigger, stronger friends and trundling round with a large van to collect all of my things... and Jade and Aaron's things too.
It was not a pleasant encounter. What an arse!!!
